“Life in St Andrew’s Chaplaincy”

 

 

We are producing a calendar for 2009 which will include:

 

• UK Bank Holidays
• Spanish Bank Holidays
• Anglican Church Festivals
• Málaga Province holidays
• Local holidays for Benalmádena, Calahonda, Coín, Fuengirola & Mijas
• anything else anyone thinks of!

 

This calendar will also have 13 photographs (one for each month and one for the cover) showing “Life in St Andrew’s Chaplaincy”.  Ideally, each month should have a photo depicting that month; therefore we launch the competition in December 2007 as the calendar will have to be completed in November 2008.

I’m looking for interesting photos taken in and around the Chaplaincy, showing life in Spain – rather than the standard “tourist attraction” shots shown here!  However, stunning shots of the landscape, flora or fauna will also be considered.

 

This calendar will be available for sale to everyone living in our area – not just churchgoers – so please bear this in mind when taking your pictures (also, would you like to look at that picture for a whole month?)

 

A mock-up copy of the calendar will be available to view in January 2008.  The proper version will be on sale in December 2008.

Photos should be landscape and contain as many mega-pixels as possible.  Please submit your entries to debbie@la-colmena.com, stating when and where the picture was taken.  If you have anything suitable taken in November 2007 please submit them now.
